William Riley Reynolds, age 59, foreman of the DeLaFosse Ranch for 28 years, died at his home in Shackelford County Tuesday afternoon at 4:45 P.M. following an illness of two years. Graveside services were held Wednesday morning at 11:00 A.M. with the Reverend J.W. Shepherd, pastor of the Methodist Church officiating, burial followed in the Albany Cemetery in Shackelford County, Texas. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Athalene; the love of his life, Addie Dean Tassey Reynolds, who was buried in Watertown, Tennessee at Jones Hill after a long battle with tuberculosis; his parents Harbert Robert Reynolds and Sarah Thomas Reynolds. He is survived by his second wife, Maida Alsop Webber Reynolds and step-son Jack Webber; three sons James Herbert Reynolds, Walter Judson Reynolds and Henry Alton Reynolds; 2 daughters Beulah Audrey Reynolds Vaughan and Minnie Ethel Reynolds Hash. William Riley Reynolds was born in DeKalb County, Tennessee to H.B. Reynolds and Sarah Thomas Reynolds. He is survived by two brothers Thomas Monroe Reynolds and Marvin V. Reynolds of Nashville, Tennessee and 4 sisters, Tennie Reynolds Kimbro, Mary Kay Reynolds Hargis, Rowena Reynolds and Jennie Reynolds of 108 McFerrin Avenue in Nashville. His sister was billed the World's Smallest Woman as she was a perfectly proportioned midget who traveled with Ringling Brothers Circus. -------------------------
