Fran Atkinson, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother has departed her earthly home to be with the Lord and only son George. Born in Ocala, Florida, Fran was raised in Jacksonville where she met her husband for life and traveled as a military affiliated wife for fifty years.

A beautiful teen and adult model, Fran was a life-long believer in physical fitness and quality life, enjoying everything good in moderation. She is survived by George, her husband of sixty two years, daughter Cindy, several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Fran served as Chief Loan Officer for the Randolph- Brooks Federal Credit Union during her twenty six year employment. She was actively involved with Methodist Church groups, a variety of local social functions, and was well liked by everyone. We will miss her smile, encouraging words, and loving nature.

A Memorial Service celebrating Fran's life is scheduled for 11:00AM, December 7, 2016 at the United Methodist Church in Universal City. In lieu of flowers, family request donations be made to the UC United Methodist Church, 90 Winn Avenue, Universal City TX,
