THOMPSON, Reginald Stuart, 73, of Dade City, passed away Dec. 14, 2016. Reg, as everyone knew him, was born to Marshall and Lucille Thompson on Dec. 22, 1942, in Omaha, Neb. He is survived by his wife, Carole West.

His passions were genealogy and growing and showing African Violets, winning many awards for showing African Violets at the clubs he was member of.

He was a member of First United Methodist Church of Dade City, Pasco Genealogical Society, life member and volunteer at the History Center of the Florida Pioneer Museum & Village, Florida Society of Mayflower Descendants, the Dade City Garden Club, The Lakeland African Violet Society and the Nickerson Family Association of Cape Cod.

A celebration of Reg's life will be held at a later date.*
