Born September 13, 1927 in Casey County, KY, she was the daughter of the late Willie and Suzann Hayes Allen. She was a homemaker.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Beckham Allen; a son Michael Allen; 3 grandsons, Keith Allen, Chad Allen and Brian Allen; a granddaughter, Ulissa Quinn; a great-grandson, William Rouse; 5 brothers, Paul, Kenneth, Phillip, Harold, and Howard Allen; and a sister, Grace Burton.
Survivors include 8 sons, David Allen, Larry (and Joyce) Allen, Conley Allen, Ted (and Shirley) Allen, Billy (and Ruby) Allen, Tom Allen, Wayne Allen, and George (and Tammy) Allen; 3 daughters, Della Cornett, Corie Lyman, and Marlene Wells; 42 grandchildren, 53 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Arnold Allen and sister, Audrey Burke.
Funeral services are 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at Grace Baptist Church with Bro. Jeff Edwards officiating. Burial will follow in Allen Cemetery.
Visitation is Tuesday from 6:00-9:00 P.M. at Grace Baptist Church.
Pallbearers are Ken Cornett, Josh Allen, Jody Allen, Jarrod Allen, Ronnie Allen, Phillip Allen and Tamara Naylor.
