Mrs. Georgia Dean Simmons -- Age 77 years, at her home, Sunday afternoon, February 11, 1968, after a sudden illness. She is survived by a son, Ralph W. Simmons, Houston, Texas; a daughter, Mrs. John T. Holloway, Murfreesboro, grandson, John T. Holloway, Jr., Murfreesboro. Remains are at Alexander Funeral Home, Gallatin, Tenn., where services will be held, Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. February 13, 1968 conducted by Rev. Ben Alexander. Interment will be held at Springhill Cemetery. Alexander Funeral Home in charge.
A native of Jackson County, she had lived in Sumner County for 48 years. She was a daughter of Jeff Dean and Alice Brooks Dean and a member of the Methodist Church.
