Hattie A. Loptien, 87, Genoa, died Sept. 23, 1978 at Sycamore Hospital.
She was born July 25, 1891 in Lee County.
Her parents were Charles and Emma (George) Hackman.
She married Lawrence Loptien Sr., Dec 18, 1910 in Sycamore.
She was a member of the Redeemer Lutheran Church, Fremont, Mich.
She is survived by two sons, Lawrence Jr. and Boyd, both of Genoa; two daughters, Mrs. Ray (Edna Merle) Plautz and Mrs. Donald (Marjorie) Anderson, both of Genoa; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and two brothers, Carl Hackman of Genoa and Bazil Hackman of Harvard.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one daughter.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Slater Funeral Home in Genoa. Officiating will be the Rev. Harold Schmidt of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Genoa. Burial will be at Elmwood Cemetery in Sycamore. Visitation is from 7-9 p.m. tonight at the Slater Funeral Home.
