MRS. ALICE McLAIN
SULPHUR SPRINGS,Ind., Apr. 24--Mrs. Alice McLain, 52, wife of Joseph Perry McLain, a wellknown Henry county woman, died at a Muncie hospital at 6:20 o'clock last evening after several weeks illness. Mrs. McLain was born in Virginia, but had lived in Henry county for the last several years. The remains were brought to the home here this morning. She is survived by the husband, four daughters, Mrs. Lawrence Sherman of Middletown, Mrs. Ray Sherman of Parker, Miss Ruth McLain and Mary Katherine McLain, and three sons, Herman, William and Kermit McLain. The funeral will be held at the home Friday morning.
