Dennis Alan Abdon, 63, of Lawrenceburg, Indiana, passed away on Monday, January 16, 2017. He was born January 23, 1953 in Lawrenceburg, Indiana, son of the late Edgar and Freda (Lewis) Abdon.
Dennis was a founding member, and active member of the ASG - Arch Street Gang. He was a member of the Lawrenceburg Eagles Arie 2018 and past member of Lawreceburg Fire Company #1. Dennis was an avid golfer and sports fan. He loved being grandpa. He retired as a Boilermaker at Local 105, Piketon, Ohio.
He is survived by his loving wife, Georgia Abdon; 2 sons, Brian (Kim) Abdon of Lawrenceburg, IN, Cody (Tara) Abdon of Manchester, IN; 4 brothers, John Abdon of Aurora, IN, Al (Joan) Abdon of Greendale, IN, Mike (Nancy) Abdon of Aurora, IN, Mark (Susann) Abdon of Bennington, IN; 2 sisters, Angela Uhlman of Decatur, IN, Nancy (Ray) Beatty of Greendale, IN; 8 grandchildren, Brock, Blake, Braden "Bubba", Summer, Alex, Jace, Mia, and Ava.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edgar and Freda Abdon, and his sister, Debbie Abdon.
Family and friends will be received on Thursday, January 19, 2017 from 5 pm to 8 pm at Fitch-Denney Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at Fitch-Denney Funeral Home, Friday, January 20, 2017 at 11 am, with Pastor Brian Dunaway officiating.
Interment will follow in the Greendale Cemetery, Greendale, Indiana.
