After her marriage she lived in Wausau, Portage and Marshfield before moving to Monroe in 1962. In Monroe she was employed at Montgomery Wards, Ludlow Memorial Library and was Green COunty deputy treasurer until retirment in 1987.
She was a member of Shepherd of the Hills Luthern Church, New Glarus, Monroe Senior Center and Cecil Jones Veterans of Foriegn Wars Ladies Auxillary in Monroe.
Survivors include a daughter, Sharon (Donald) Albright of Minocqua, a brother Leonard Wentz of Minocqua,half-brother Delbert Fitzsimmons of Platteville, a sister Reo VanNatta of Dubuque, IA; a half-sister Edna Reynolds of Lancaster; a step grand-daughter and a step great grand-daughter.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Barbara Jean Arnold; a brother, Alvin; and a half-sister Thelma Stender.
Funeral services were in Newcomer Funeral Home in Monroe. Rev. Ronald Nybroten of Shepherd of the Hills Luthern Church officiated. Burial was a Wiley Cemetery, Colfax, Ill.
