In 1926 she married Thomas J. McAndrews in Philadelphia. They had one child, a daughter, Ruth in 1928. Sometime prior to 1930, Thomas died of unknown causes.
Ruth, now a widow, remained living in Philadelphia with her daughter.
In 1944, she remarried to Joseph S. Freestone in Philadelphia. The couple appears to have lived in, or near, Philadelphia until Ruth's death in 1983.
Joseph died at age 96 in 2001.
