Ida, daughter of Pierre and Flavia (Robert) Felio, was born in Keeseville, Clinton, New York, United States on 29 May 1865; She married Maximilian C, son of Antoine and Olive (Leforce) Major, in Winchendon, Worcester, Massachusetts, United States on 21 April, 1884; Ida (Felio) Major died in Greenfield, Franklin, Massachusetts on 14 March 1915.

Ida died at age 59, she survived her husband and was survived by their three children: George, Francis, and daughter Florence.

Ida was the last of the 13 known children of Pierre Felio (Filion) and Flavie Sophie Robert. Ida's other siblings were Peter (1840-1916), Flavie (1842-1902), Justine (1844-1912), Angelique (1847-1922), Jennie Marie (1850-1944), Hannah (1852-1944), Alexandre (1855-1855), Frederick Henry (1857-1939), Edward (1860-1906), Maglorie (1860-1861), Harriet (1862-1943), Ida M (1865-1915)

Note: The family name Filion changed to Felio when the family arrived in Clinton County, New York from Napierville, Quebec about 1848. Later around 1900 several of the youngest family members changed their name from Felio to Fields.

Death of Mra. Ida Major
Mrs. Ida E. Major, 49, wife of Maximillon Major of forest avenue, died at Franklin County Public hospital Sunday following an operation. About nine weeks ago Mrs. Major fell from a vehicle and sustained a spinal injury which made the operation necessary. Mrs. Major was a native of Peru N. Y. She had made her home in Greenfield for about 18 years. She was a member of Guiding Star Grange, Guiding Star Circle, the Women's Catholic Club (2 lines unreadable.
The funeral was held at Holy Trinity church Tuesday morning and burial was in Calvary cemetery. She leaves besides her husband, a daughter, Miss florence Major, who is in the hospital recovering from an operation for appendicitis, two sons, Frank of Greenfield and George of Springfield.
The following out of town relatives were present at the funeral. A sister, Mrs. Whitcomb of Winchendon, two nieces, Miss Haverty and Miss farrell of Brattleboro, Vt.. a nephew Wm. Taylor of Bellows Falls, Vt., Two cousins, the Misses Dupont o Holyoke, and a cousin Miss Florence Major of Springfield. Many beautiful flowers were received from the societies to which Mrs. Major had belonged, also from relatives, neighbors and friends.
