Myrtle I. Ayers of 305 Cherry St., Roaring Spring, died at 2 a.m. yesterday, July 20, 1969, at her home, after a lengthy illness. She was born Aug. 21, 1880, in Bedford County, the daughter of Philip and Barbara (Klotz) Brown, and July 30, 1899, married William L. Ayers, who died in 1954.
Surviving are two daughters and a son, Miss Lena F. and Miss Thelma L. of Roaring Spring and William Glenn of Cleveland, Ohio; five grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Ayers was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church, Roaring Spring. Friends will be received at the home after 2 p.m. today.
