LAURINBURG — Martha Watts Hasty, 96, passed away June 6, 2015 at her Scotia Village residence.
A Memorial service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Old Laurel Hill Presbyterian Church. Visitation will follow in the fellowship hall.

She is survived by her daughters, Anna H. McMillan (James) and Debbie H. Milligan (Marshall) of Laurinburg; her son, Andy Hasty (Bunny) of Laurinburg, NC.

Born Nov. 21, 1918 in Gaffney, South Carolina, she was a daughter of the late Alberry Hill and Dovie Medlin watts and widow of the late Walter Hasty to whom she was married for 64 years. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Barbara H. Sasseen and her great-grandson, David Sword.

Martha enjoyed reading, doing crafts, traveling, playing bridge and bingo along with spending time with her family.
