Larry Dean Edwards, 60, of Caldwell, passed away at his home on Tuesday, Jan. 16, 2007, surrounded by his loving family. A funeral service to celebrate his life will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 19, 2007 at the Nampa Church of the Brethren, 11030 Orchard Ave. Burial will follow at the Kuna Cemetery. Services are under the direction of the Alsip & Persons Funeral Chapel, 404 10th Ave. So., Nampa (466-3545). Larry Dean Edwards was born on Nov. 30, 1946 in Nampa, Idaho, the son of Jack and Betty Edwards. At an early age he moved with his family to Klamath, Calif. where he attended elementary school and then the family returned to Kuna, Idaho where he attended some of his high school years and then the family moved to McKinlyville, Calif. where he graduated from high school. He married Terry Morrow on Aug. 13, 1972 in Reno, Nev. Following their marriage they made their home in Glenns Ferry, Idaho. Larry worked for Sailor Creek Farms and Kent Brothers Farms. They later moved to California where Larry worked as a logging truck driver. In September of 2006 they moved to Caldwell. Larry enjoyed hunting, camping and sporting events. He also enjoyed classic cars and going to car shows. Larry was a very kind, loving and honest person who touched everyone he met. He is survived by his wife, Terry Edwards, Caldwell; his children, Tonya (John) Waterman, Redding, Calif. and Dearl (Tyna) Edwards, Meridian, Idaho; his father, Jack Edwards, Henrietta, Okla.; sister, Judy Edwards, White City, Ore.; brother, Artie (Patti) Edwards, Henrietta, Okla.; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Dearl ÒPopsÓ and Margie ÒMomÓ Morrow, Crescent City, Calif.; his brothers-in-law and their spouses, Butch and Corky Morrow, Chico, Calif. and Chuck and Maggie Morrow, Crescent City; numerous nieces and nephews, and his four grandchildren, Easton, Peyton and Averi Waterman who called their grandfather ÒPapaÓ and Tracy Edwards who called his grandfather ÒPop-popÓ. He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Edwards and a brother, Tracy Edwards. In lieu of flowers the family suggest contributions be made to US Bank, 607 Cleveland Blvd., Caldwell, ID 83605 to help defray medical expenses due to Larry´s illness. A special thanks to Four Rivers Hospice for all of their support and care to the family.
