Ruben Anglin, age 86, of Clarksville, AR, passed away January 21, 2006. He was born September 28, 1919, in Oark, AR. He was a farmer, timber worker, and of the Assembly of God faith. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Johnie Anglin, his parents, Harvel U. and Mary L. Pottett Anglin, a son, Norman Anglin, and 6 brothers, John, George, Gillis, Dewey, Ottie, and Rylee Anglin.
Survivors include his wife, Laura Anglin of Clarksville, 4 sons, Harvie Anglin of Knoxville, Lee Anglin of Hartman, Jerry Anglin of Alabama, and Francis Anglin of Hartman, 3 daughters, Shirley Emerson of Alabama, Laura Fern Bagsby and Linda McMahan of Clarksville, 1 step-son, J.C. Bramlett of California, 6 step-daughters, Reba Harris of Hartman, Ruby Marshall of Heber Springs, Betty Steele of California, Gretta Bramlett, Dorothy Bramlett, and Loretta Duncan of Fort Smith, 1 sister, Lossie Goldsmith of Clarksville, 19 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren.
Services will be 2 PM, Saturday, February 25, 2006, at Roller Cox Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Amos Pledger officiating. Burial will follow in the Kendall Cemetery in Hartman, AR. Visitation is 6-8 PM, Friday at the Roller Cox Funeral Home chapel in Clarksville
