Frederick Howard Bumgarner, Sr., 95, of Maiden, was a son to the late Charles Franklin and Bessie Keever Bumgarner. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Betty Louise Schrum Bumgarner; son, Frederick Howard Bumgarner, Jr.; brothers, Wade Bumgarner, Richard Bumgarner, Joe Bumgarner, Paul Bumgarner, Lewis Bumgarner, and Harry Bumgarner.
Howard was a devoted member of St. Matthew's Reformed Church. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. After serving in the Army, he was employed more than 25 years with Ethan Allen making furniture.
Interment in St. Matthew's Reformed Church Cemetery.
