She was born October 8, 1931 in Hayward, to Harold and Vivian (Wood) Frye.
She was married in Pine City, MN on November 16, 1949 to Raymond Capuzzi.
Darlene was a longtime 3M employee and a active member of St. Anthony Catholic Church.
She is survived by her husband, Raymond of Cumberland, two daughters, Rita Ricci of Cumberland and Pam (Lester) Johnson of Cumberland; three sons, Darrell Capuzzi of Cumberland, Richard (Renee) Capuzzi of Cumberland and Michael Capuzzi of Ramsey, MN; 10 grandchildren, three great grandchildren and one brother, Les Frye of Whitehall.
Darlene was preceded in death by one grandson, Jeremy Ricci.
Funeral services were held at 10:30 AM Tuesday, January 16, 2007 at St. Anthony Catholic Church, Cumberland, with Father David Lusson officiating.
Burial was in St. Anthony Cemetery, Cumberland, WI.
Pallbearers were Bryan Capuzzi, Philip Capuzzi, Kevin Capuzzi, DJ Capuzzi, Ray Johnson and Joe Ricci. Honorary pallbearers were Jason Capuzzi, Dionne Capuzzi, Danielle Johnson, Carla Hogan, Paul Hogan and Sarah Johnson.
