Elmer E. Adams Jr. (Bud), of Woodsfield, Ohio, age 84 passed away Tuesday July 14, 2009, after a short illness.

Beloved husband of 46 years to Catherine; Loving father of Cynthia (Adams) Riley; dearest grandfather of Steven Riley and Susanne (Riley) Haines; dearest brother to Audrey Carbone; dearest great-grandfather to Cole and Tessa Riley and also Nilah, Gwen and Riley Haines;

Elmer was born and spent the majority of his life in Brimfield, Oh. Living his later years in Woodsfield, OH.

Elmer served in the United States Navy during World War II, Serving with the Ninth Australian Division before being honorably discharged. Elmer was a graduate of Kent State High School and attended Kent State University. Elmer retired after 32 years of service with Ohio Bell Telephone Company.

He loved to travel, fishing in Canada and hunting. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Cremation has taken place. There will be No services or calling hours.
