Frank J. Shuster, 62, Hibbing, died Wednesday, June 27, 2007, at his home.
He was born Aug. 5, 1944, to Martin and Annie Shuster in Chicago, Ill. He was a longtime resident of Hibbing. Frank enjoyed being a pharmacist. Due to his achievements with high school wrestling, Frank was inducted into the Hibbing Wrestling Hall of Fame. Frank will be deeply missed by the many family and friends who knew him. He was known as one of the most generous individuals you could ever meet.
He is survived by his daughter, Colleen Shuster; his son, Steve (Valeria) Shuster; brother Joe (Patsy) Shuster; four sisters, Pauline LaBate, Marion (Bob) Kosovich, Margie (Jack) Short, and Anna (Tim) Hasty; his dog, Ginger; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Martin and Annie Shuster; two brothers, Ernest and Martin; a niece, Diana Short; and nephews Peter LaBate and Robert Kosovich.
Funeral: Funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, July 1, at the Dougherty Funeral Home of Hibbing with the Rev. Peter Muhich officiating.
Visitation: Will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, June 30, at the funeral home with wake prayers at 7 p.m. The visitation will continue one hour prior to the funeral service at the funeral home on Sunday.
Burial: A private family inurnment will take place on Monday at the Maple Hill Cemetery of Hibbing.
Arrangements are with the Dougherty Funeral Home of Hibbing.
