Texas on January 18, 2017. He was born on August 29, 1955 to Dr. Lee N. Butler, Jr. and
Mary N. Butler in Bronte, Texas who both preceded him in death.
Terry served in the United States Navy from 1973 to 1981. He served for four years as a
navigator on the submarine USS James K. Polk (SSBN/SSN645).
Terry was a beloved father, husband, and brother. He was dearly loved by many and will be
missed by all. He is survived by his son, Joseph Butler, his wife of 36 years, Wanda Butler,
his brother, Tommy Butler and his wife, Vickie, his aunt, Joyce Restelli, and many cousins,
nieces, and nephews.
