Becky, 56, passed away at Woodlawn Hospital in Rochester, Indiana. She was the daughter of Larry Gene and Shirley Ruth (Eisert) Martin. On April 20, 1985, in Twelve Mile, Indiana, she married Jeffery David Swanson.
Becky was a 1978 graduate of Logansport High School. After high school, she worked as a hairdresser for several years and then as a waitress. Since 2011, she and her family owned and operated The Denver Tavern in Denver, Indiana.
Along with her mother and husband, Becky is survived by sons Rodney David Swanson & companion Kristy Prather, and David Jeffery Swanson & companion Jamie Heckathorn; daughter Samantha Jo Swanson; sisters Tina (Mike) Hunt, and Trudie (Jack) Harrison; grandchildren Owen Jeffery Swanson, Rodney David Swanson Jr., Bryce Kelly, and Drew Kelly; Mother-in-Law Rosemary Swanson; Sister-in-Law Teresa (Bob) Hoagland; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father; a brother, Rodney Martin; Father-in-Law Roger Swanson; sister-in-law Chris Townsend; and nephew Allen Townsend.
A memorial service was held for Becky on October 11, 2016, at McClain Funeral Home in Denver, Indiana.
