KRAFT FUNERAL SERVICE OBITUARY – 2015
George A. "Sonny" Wild, 78 years of age died Thursday, July 9, 2015 at his home in New Albany. He was born June 24, 1937 in Louisville, KY to the late John & Anna Wild. Sonny retired from A.J. Schneider Company and was a member of the Kentucky National Guard, Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in New Albany, and former member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Louisville. Along with his parents, Sonny was preceded in death by his first wife, Elizabeth Wild. Those left behind to cherish his memory include his wife, Charlotte Wild; children, Denise Broughton (David), Jeanette Myers (Denis), Eddie Wild (Kim); 8 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 12-6 p.m. Sunday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, IN. His funeral Mass will be 10 a.m. Monday at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 1752 Scheller Lane, New Albany, IN with burial to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park in Louisville. The family requests expressions of sympathy to go to Hosparus or Our Lady of Perpetual Help.
