Bret Owen Buckner, 57, of Hueytown, passed away January 18, 2017.
He was a lifelong resident of Hueytown and graduated from Hueytown High School.
Bret was a member of North Highlands Baptist Church. He was employed by C-Lox, formerly Alabama Oxygen.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother Willie and Mary Rose Buckner.
He is survived by his sister Phyllis Hall (Rick); brothers Bruce Buckner (Debra), and Billy Buckner (Teresa); nieces and nephews Brent Buckner, Heather Buckner, Benjamin Buckner, Diane Herron, Brittany Herron, Nikita Herron, and Adriana Herron; aunt Mrs. Franklin; cousin Elisa Lawson; and Longtime friend Debbie Moseley and her daughters Sarah and Katie.
The visitation will be Thursday from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Peoples Chapel Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be Friday, January 27, 2017, at 10:00 AM at the Funeral Home, with Rev. Steve Headrick and Bro. Bobby Simmons officiating.
Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Gardens.
