Fourth of eight children of Francis Orville "Frank" Flowers (1860-1946) and Sarah Lassifine "Lassie" Nash (1861-1951).


About 1916 in Fulton County, Georgia, he married Mamie Street (1896-1981). The daughter of John William Street (1852-1943) and Nancy Elizabeth "Nannie" Wilson (1857-1935) of Gwinnett County, but formerly DeKalb.


Two daughters.


1.) Evelyn Louise "Eva" Flowers (1917-1989) who married Earl Rodney Mellott CANFIELD (1916-1998).


2.) Bernice Aileen "Bunny" Flowers (1924-2014) who married Thomas Cleveland KERNS, II (1925-2007) and moved to Durham, North Carolina.
