Roger Dewayne Alexander, 56, unexpectedly passed away Jan. 1, 2017. Born in Tanana, to Fred and Rita Alexander on June 25, 1960, Roger was raised in Old Minto and resided in New Minto.

Roger lived life as a carpenter and forestry crew boss. He enjoyed living in Minto and living off the land, hunting and fishing. He spent his free time reading the Bible and was an early riser.

He was preceded in death by mother Rita Alexander, sisters Charleen Kettelson, Maxine Alexander, Janet Fedosh, brother Marvin Alexander, and nephew Greg Kettelson. He is survived by father Fred Alexander and brother Hubert Alexander, and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Burial service and ceremony will be at 1pm Saturday, Jan. 7, in Minto, officiated by Rev. Bessie Titus, with traditional potlatch following at Minto Community Hall. Published in Daily News-Miner on Jan. 5, 2017.
