ABRAHAM A. STECKEL, 87, of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., formerly of Cliffside Park, died Friday. Before retiring, he was a pharmacist. He was a member of B'rith Abraham, New York City. He was a graduate of the University of Buffalo's College of Pharmacy. Surviving are two daughters, Elizabeth Midlarsky of East Brunswick, and Tova Steckull of Glen Oaks, N.Y.; two sisters, Ruth Gordon of Brooklyn and Lily Bernstein of Bellmore, N.Y.; two brothers, Leon of Fort Lauderdale and Murray of the Bronx, and four grandchildren. His wife, Frances Weiner Steckel, died in 1982. Services are today at 1:30 p.m. at Louis Suburban Chapels, Fair Lawn, with burial at Wellwood Cemetery, Pine Lawn, N.Y. Donations to the Jewish National Fund would be appreciated.
