84, of Knoxville, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 31, 2016. She was a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church. She loved crossword puzzles, Gaither music and embroidery.
Marie was preceded in death by parents, Oty and Thenie Hammock; and several brothers and sisters. Survived by her loving and devoted husband of 56 years, Bill Wayman; son and daughter-in-law, Albert and Wanda Wayman; daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and Donny Griffey; two grandchildren, Ransom Wayman and Kristy (James) Knipper.
