Wes Theobald was a young artist. He was attending Illinois State University and Illinois Central College to obtain a degree in Art Education so that he could teach what he loved. He was an inspirational and loving person and he was a good friend. Wes took his own life at the age of 21. He was a good person and a humorous person. Playing games with my mom was sometimes one of the happiest moments I can replay in my memory...Answering the door and asking him what he had gotten us or my mom for Christmas or a Birthday he would cooly bend down and pick up the dirty little Key holding bunny statue....He'd tos the weeds off and then hand it to us and have some cute and humorous line to go with it. We took the bunny out of the garden when he died, it now sits pleasantly in our living room. Our memories are large and our memories are beautiful of Wes and each one of us possess a personal item as well as prescious fondness of him in our hearts and he will be missed yet never forgotten both in our home and our hearts,...everyday.
