Wesley Glen Bunch, 73, of Purdon was retired from 60 years in the construction business.
He was preceded in death by his father James Bunch; his mother, Faye Bunch; brother Billy Bunch and sister Norma Hall.
He is survived by his wife Cindy; his children Lisa Morris, Renee Hanna, Wesley Bunch, Jr., Amanda Bunch, Melinda Bunch and Virginia Bunch; 9 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren; 2 brothers, Stanley Bunch and Buddy Bunch.
Wes never met a stranger; his personality was one of a kind. He would do anything for anyone he came across and if you were one of his friends you know this to be true. He was well known in the area and will be greatly missed. He loved having his kids and grandkids at the house. His best trick was pulling on his ears and popping out his teeth to get a reaction from the kids. He mellowed with age and became very attached to his "Kids" (dogs). He loved having a shindig with family and friends, cooking on the smoker and tossing back beers.
A viewing will be held at Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home; followed by a cremation with no service.
