Orville attended school in Elcomb, Kentucky and served his country in the United States Navy during WWII.
On October 10, 1946, he was married to Bessie (Brock) Ball in Harlan, Kentucky; she survives.
Mr. Ball had resided in Whitestown, Indiana since 1960. He worked as a machinist for Dependable Products in Indianapolis for many years.
Orville was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He loved the outdoors and was an avid fisherman and hunter. He was a member of the New Hope Christian Church in Whitestown.
