William Johnny Freeman, 87, of Eldorado, Oklahoma died Monday, January 30, 2017 at Comanche County Memorial Hospital in Lawton, Oklahoma. Johnny was born June 22, 1929 to William Custer and Cora Neeley Freeman.

He graduated from Eldorado High School in 1949. Johnny farmed until he left to serve in the Marine Corp from 1952-1954. Upon returning he worked several jobs, finally opening Freeman's Welding Shop in Eldorado with his dad.

In 1957 Johnny married Jan Franks. Jan preceded him in death in 1983. He married Joy Rumbo in 1985, and she preceded Johnny in death in 2014.

Johnny is survived by a son, Johnny Lynn Freeman and wife Lori, sister Barbara Burge and husband David, sister-in-law Pat Freeman, two step-children, Marcia Weathers and Mark Rumbo, along with several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by brothers Perry and Tommie Freeman, and a sister-in-law Kathryn Freeman, niece Marsha Freeman Kelly and nephew Mika Burge.

Funeral service will be held Thursday, February, 2, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church, Eldorado, Oklahoma, officiated by Rev. Pete Wylie. Interment will follow at the Eldorado Cemetery.
