Aneita June Harvey Anderson was 81 when she passed away peacefully at home in Oak City from complications of pneumonia.

Anita was born to John Marlin and Elva Leona Atwood Harvey. She married Dean Eldon Anderson on Dec. 11, 1950 in the Salt Lake Temple. They lived for most of their married life in Oak City, UT where Dean was a farmer and rancher. Aneita was a devoted homemaker, wife and mother. Aneita was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many positions including Relief Society President, Counselor in the YW and Primary Presidencies, and teacher in the different organizations. She served a full time mission with her husband to the Calif. San Diego Mission from 1984-85, and Temple Worker in the Manti Temple. She was true and faithful to her covenants and the legacy of faith she gave to her posterity will bless generations to come.

Anita is survived by her husband of 56 years Dean Anderson of Oak City; sons: Gordon (Jackie) Anderson of Richfield, UT; Ardean (Janet) Anderson of Royal City, Wash; Daniel (Sherilyn) Anderson and Bruce (Sharla) Anderson both of Oak City, UT; sisters: Velma Harvey and Barbara Harrison of Vernal, UT; brother: Gene Harvey of Tridell, UT; sister-in-law: Connie Harvey of Lehi, UT. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers: Dee and Don Harvey, and sister: Doris Rogers. She had 18 grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services were held Mon. January 22nd at the Oak City LDS Chapel.
