FRANCES BERTA DENNISON

Frances Berta (Talmadge) Dennison passed away Saturday at the age of 91. She was a resident at Brookdale Senior Living Center in Fortuna, Ca for two months.
Frances was born in Healdsburg, Ca and at the age of two her family relocated to Eureka, Ca. After graduating from Eureka High School she was employed by the Eureka City Library until the birth of her first child.
Frances is survived by her three children Dian (James) Tucker, Paul (Janice) Dennison and Wayne Dennison. Her grandchildren Richard Dennison, Wally Dennison, Angela Tully, and Tim Tucker and her great grandchildren gave her special enjoyment. Her great grandchildren are Victor and Lawson Dennison, Jordann and Maddy Tully, and Cora, Evelyn and Faith Tucker. Laura McHatton is also someone who was very special to Frances with their 38 year friendship.
Frances was very active the six months prior to her passing. She went camping with her family and also went rafting down the Trinity River. She had such a big heart and so much joy to share with everyone around her. Dementia set it and she was quickly taken from all of her loved ones.
The family is so grateful to Hospice for the wonderful care they provided Frances. Specially notes was her Nurse Scotty and his team who treated her with such gentle care. Thank you to Francine from Hospice for treating Frances with love and care giving dignity to the whole process.
There will be a graveside service at Ocean View Cemetery on Wednesday February 1, 2017. In lieu of flowers please make any donations to Hospice of Humboldt County.
