He married Helen Crye on December 27, 1959 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He was a Farm Superintendent for Texas Tech from 1972 to 1974. He was Powder River Livestock store manager when he moved to the Tuttle area in 1980. He also worked for Electric Mobility Co and later as a transfer driver for Ryder Truck retiring in 2005.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Gordon and Ruth Coker.

James Coker of Enid, OK;
Thomas Coker of Tuttle, OK
2 daughters: Janet Coker of Oklahoma City, OK;
Patricia Boys of Princeton, TX;
