Carolyn Duke, age 80 of Hope, Arkansas passed away Thursday, February 2, 2017 in Texarkana, Texas. She was born on July 7, 1936 in Crossett, Arkansas to James T. and Rose Elma Maxwell Walker.
She was a retired nursing home administrator and a member of Southside Baptist Church in Hope.
Mrs. Duke is preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Jesse Duke.
Survivors include three sons, a daughter, two brothers, two sisters, eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, other family members and friends.
Memorial service for Mrs. Duke will be 2:00pm on Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at BRAZZEL/Oakcrest Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial will be in Rose Hills Memorial Park in Whittier, California at a future date.
