Curt was born at Guy & Anna Hull's house on Hull Road Elmer Twp. Sanilac County, Mi.. He lived on Cash Road and went to Cash School on French Line Road until he was 7. Then his family moved to Everett Goodwine's farm on Frenchline Road. He lived there until 1951, when his father & mother bought a 160 acre farm on Applegate Road. He went to Hull school on the corner of Frenchline road & Hull road until 8th grade, then he went four years to Sandusky High School where he graduated in June of 1959, in November of 1959 he volunteered for the draft and served the next two years in the army, most at Ft. Dix, N.J. He returned to the farm in 1961 and farmed for 21 years. He married Catherine Carney in 1962 and they got divorced in 1991. After he left farming He worked at different jobs for Clements Mft. In Deckerville Mi. He bought a house and 10 acres June 23, 1983 on Shabbona Rd. in sec. 19, Wheatland Twp. (880 Shabbona Rd.) He lived there for the rest of his life.
He loved to be outdoors and was an avid hunter when he was young, He also was into taxidermy as a young man. He had a snowmobile business, selling Speedway snowmobiles that he ran out of the farm shop for about 5 years.
