Hansel Floren Kiger, 74, of 19 Franklin Avenue, Bobtown, died Saturday, December 15, 1979, at the Greene County Memorial Hospital following a long illness.

He was born at Brock, Perry Township, on May 20, 1905. a son of the late Morgan and Anna Newell Kiger.

Mr. Kiger was a member of the Shorden Chapel United Methodist Church near Bobtown and for many years was a lay speaker and Sunday School teacher.

Until his retirement, he was employed by the Headlee Lumber Co. at Healdlee Heights and later at Rogersville.

HE is survived by his wife, Muriel Everly Kiger; one son of Louisville, Ky.; six brothers, Herman, Larnie and Raymond, all of Mt. Morris, Okle of Spraggs, Jesse of Jollytown, Daws of Waynesburg R.D. and one sister, Mrs. Grethel Wilson of Campbell, Ohio.

An infant son, Floren Duane Kiger, and a sister, Mrs. Flora B. Fox are deceased. Twin sisters and a brother died in infancy.
