The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at Immanuel Baptist Church, North Augusta, with Dr. Waites P. McLeod officiating. Burial will be in Pineview Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Aldridge, a native of Birmingham, Ala., had lived in Darlington for four years. She formerly resided in North Augusta for 38 years. She was a homemaker, a member of Immanuel Baptist Church, where she was a member of Dorcas Sunday School Class, and was a member of South Carolina Rose Society.
Survivors include two sons, Edmund C. Aldridge, Summerville, and Marion D. Aldridge, Columbia; three brothers, Marvin Hipps and John Hipps, both of Birmingham, and Tom Hipps, Texas; four sisters, Odell Waters, Gertrude Graves and Juanita Evans, all of Birmingham, and Virginia Williams, Ohio; and three grandchildren.
