Cory ``Dumplin" David McQuaide passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, Dec. 9, 2006.

Cory was truly an ``All American Boy." He lived life to the fullest and cherished the fact that he was a lifeguard during the summer and a snowboard instructor in the winter. He won the ``big air" contest at Brandywine Ski Resort during the first year that he learned to snowboard! He was an avid guitar player with a natural ability to complement his love for music. He had even been caught playing his guitar in his sleep, with extreme perfection. He loved nothing more than jamming with his best buds, and ``free-styling." He brightened the lives of all he touched with a huge ``hug" to greet all whom he met. He loved life as well as all he touched and the world will miss a true American hero. As a lifeguard, Cory had over 16 saves. He saved so many others, and always said ``it was just his job." Cory was a patriotic American that believed even at a young age the goals and philosophies of the Republican Party. He had his goals built around preparing himself to serve our country whenever he was called. His goal was to go on to be a doctor in the U.S. Airforce. He had a heart of gold, and would do anything for anyone.

Cory was preceded in death by his great-grampa, Ralph Parks; his grandfather, Michael Totaro; and his best friend and cousin, Josiah Totaro. Cory leaves behind to carry on his legacy, his mother, Pat; father, Kevin; brother, Scotty; sister, Megan; stepparents, Peggy McQuaide and Norm Custer; stepbrothers, Clay, King; stepsister, Lucy Holmes; and beloved girlfriend, Edina Gazso, and more friends than anyone could ever hope for. Cory also leaves to cherish his memory, his loving grandparents, Mrs. Michael Totaro, Dave and Gloria McQuaide and great-grandmother, Margaret Parks. Cory will also be missed by all of his aunts, uncles and cousins with whom he shared his life.
