A well-known resident of East Tamaki for many years, Mr. Charles John Crago, died at Stratford on August 5. He came to New Zealand with his parents in 1874 and they settled at East Tamaki. On his father's death Mr. C. J. Crago took over the farm, but retired 20 years ago. He was a church worker. Mr. Crago never married. Mrs. W. F. Clemow, of Stratford, is a sister, and Mr. Philip Crago, of Papatoetoe, a brother.
