Emma Jean Francis, 91, of Chester entered into peaceful rest on February 2nd at her residence while surrounded by her loving family.

She is survived by her son, Mark Francis Sr. (Amanda), two grandchildren Mark Francis Jr. (Jessica) & Christopher Francis, along with a host of family & friends.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Funeral service on Saturday February 11, 2017 at 10:00 A.M., at St. Daniels United Methodist Church, 315 Edwards St., Chester, PA 19013. The public is invited to view from 8-10 A.M. ∼Departed this life at the age of 91. Born to Rev. John Dean & Willie Mae (Faulk) Dean. The oldest of 7, 5 surviving siblings. Educated to 8th grade in the Dothan/Slocomb Ala. public school system. Leaving home at 15 to live with favorite aunts & uncles in Cleveland, Ohio, and Asbury Park, NJ. Working various jobs until meeting the love of her life Albert J. Francis Jr. On a greyhound bus, igniting a union only death could break! After a long courtship marrying on August 13, 1955. Losing her BELOVED after 59 years of marriage on 12-12-2014. She held longtime employment as a seamstress & a cook with the Chester Upland School District for over 20 years before retiring! They had one child, a son Mark Anthony Francis Sr. 2 grandsons Mark Anthony Francis Jr. (Jessica), & Christopher Aaron Francis. Amanda & Christopher were her primary care takers. She was a faithful servant of GOD all of her life! Having been a long time member Providence Baptist Church Rev. Randolph. Unity Baptist Church Rev. James Harrison & Rev.
