This headstone of Ann Morrell is one of the oldest in Fremantle Cemetery. She passed away on the 8th of October 1832, but was buried in Alma Street Cemetery. (Which is now Fremantle Primary Schooll!) She was removed at the family's request on the 20th of October 1915 and was re-interred at Fremantle Cemetery.
Inscription reads:
"Sacred, To the memory of M Ann. Wife of John Morrell late from England who departed this life October 8th 1832. Aged 43 Years."
