Adeline M. Hennessey, 87, of Huntley, IL, passed away February 5, 2017 at Centegra Hospital in McHenry.
She was born on June 17, 1929 in Chicago the daughter of Theodore and Mary (Garbacik) Smietana. Adeline attended St. James Elementary School, and Steinmetz High School in Chicago.
She leaves her husband, Charles; daughter, Mary Lou (and Jim Dolan); son, Charles (and Karen Hennessey); daughter, Patricia (and Steve Lambrechts); son, John (and Sharon Hennessey). Loving grandmother of April King; Matthew and Laura Hennessey; Bridget Dolan; Andrew, Samantha, Brooke and Christian Lambrechts; great grandmother of Ryan, Hailey, and Delaney King; Henry Hennessey; and Michael Juliano; loving aunt and great aunt to many.
She was preceded in death by her parents; five brothers, and four sisters.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:30 pm at St. Mary Catholic Church, 10307 Dundee Rd. in Huntley. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery.
Visitation will be prior to mass at the church from 12:30 to 1:30 pm.
