McADOO (Special) — Services for Florence Belle McWilliams, 80, of Lorenzo will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday in the McAdoo First Baptist Church with the Rev. Keith Solley, pastor, officiating. He will be assisted by the Rev. John Goss, retired Baptist Minister from Ralls.
Burial will be in McAdoo Cemetery under the direction of Adams Funeral Home in Crosbyton.
She died at 4:30 a.m. Wednesday in Crosbyton Hospital after a lengthy illness.
She was born in Farmersville and moved to McAdoo in 1942. She married Sherman S. Armstrong in 1920 in Farmersville. He died in 1956. She married Lawson H. McWilliams in 1957 in Dickens County. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church in Crosbyton.
Survivors include her husband; five sons, H. S. Armstrong of Gilmer, Benny of Abilene, Lawson Jr. of Proctor Lake, Curtis of Irving and Raymond of Big Spring; two daughters, Ouida Bryant of Lorenzo and Esta Faye of Proctor Lake; a sister, Stella Long of Dilley; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Grandsons will be pallbearers.
