TRIBUTE TO MRS. SUSIE BRIDGES McNEASE

"Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his Saints."

Friends in this section were grieved to hear of the death of Mrs. Susie McNease, Sept. 16th, altho she had been in failing health several years, she was only seriously ill a few days.

All that loving hands and medical aid could do was done, but God was ready for her to come home with Him. It can truly be said that she was a faithful Christian and a devoted mother and wife. Her home was her kingdom.

Mrs. McNease was born in the same community where she spent her entire life. In young womanhood she was married to Jim C. McNease. Together they made a Christian home in which they reared a fine family of four girls and four boys, all of whom survive. She had been a faithful member of Whitesand Baptist Church since early girlhood. She was also a charter member of the W. M. S. and was always ready to do her part in all church activities. She will be sadly missed by her circle.

Besides her husband, she leaves the following children to mourn her passing: Mrs. Buel Letchworth, Mrs. Gaston Luper, Mrs. Clarence Shoemaker, Prentiss; Mrs. Floyd Strasner, Little Rock, Ark.; Henry, Cletus, Cleavon McNease, Prentiss, and John McNease, Bassfield; one sister, Mrs. Evan Burrow and two brothers, J. M. and Elam Bridges, all of Prentiss.

Oh, it is so lonesome without you --
There is a vacant chair;
We never hear your footsteps
Nor see your smiling face.
We miss your loving kindness
Which you practiced in all your ways,
You were upright and just to the end of your days -- You were sincere and true in heart and mind, A beautiful memory to leave behind.

A friend and neighbor,
Mrs. John B. Stamps
