Burnes (Ray) W. Burr, born in Mansfield Louisiana, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 7, 2017.

Ray was a loving Grandfather, Father, brother and friend who loved to read western books, watch sports and garden. As a member of our military, he served our nation in the Army for 22 years and retired as a Master Sergeant. After retiring he worked at the Post Office for many years where he touched the lives of many co-workers and people on his route.

Ray is predeceased by his beloved wife, Adriana Marin Burr.

Ray is survived by his son, Robert Burr and wife Debra Burr; daughter, Rosie Burr; grandchildren, Nicholas, CJ, Connor, Kayla, Adriana and Robbie.

A special thanks to Adriana Herrera and family for being such special friends to Ray. We would like to also thank Ray's Doctors (Dr. Binkard, Dr. Helmi and Dr. Krause) and Nurses for their compassionate care.

A funeral procession will depart Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel at 12:00pm, followed by
a Military funeral service at Barrancas National Cemetery on Monday February 13, 2017 at 12:30pm.
