Mr. Adams was a veteran of the Marine Corps and was very proud of his military service. He was wounded in Saipan in World War II on July 4, 1944. He retired from Republic Insurance in 1981. He was preceded in death by his son, Jack Adams.
Survivors: Wife of 60 years, Vera; son, Phil Adams and wife, Cindy of Hurst; daughter-in-law, Ingrid Adams of Little Rock; grandchildren, Lance, Melissa, Greg, Lori and Katie; great-grandchildren, Shane, Cassie, Ashlyn and Allison.
