Anna G. Owings
Anna Grace Owings, 80, of 23-9th St., Buckhead Ridge, died Tuesday, Jan. 11, 1983, at H.H. Raulerson, Jr. Memorial Hospital.
Survivors include: son, Herbert, of Okeechobee, three grandchildren; and a great grandchild.
Services and interment took place in Kirksville, Mo. Local arrangements were under the direction fo the Buxton Funeral Home.

Anna Grace Owings, 80, Okeechobee, Florida, passed away Tuesday (January 11, 1983).
The daughter of Frederick and Zilpha Cureton Palmer, She was born in Pilot Grove on October 3, 1902. On November 20, 1926 she was married to Clell Owings who preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death one brother.
Surviving are one son, Herbert Owings of Okeechobee, Florida and three grandchildren, Frances Owings and Barbara Petre, both of Bevier and Kathryn Owings of Macon.
At the age of two, she was adopted by Joseph Kirby and Katherine Belle Cloren Weymouth. She was reared in the Novinger Community where she received her education. For a number of years, Mrs. Owings was empolyed with the International Shoe Company. Before her retirement in 1973, she was employed with Food Service at Northeast Missouri State University.
Mrs. Owings was a member of the First Church of God.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 Saturday morning (January 15, 1983) in the chapel of Foster-Fohn Memorial Home. The Rev. Dave Strong, pastor of the Church of God, will conduct the services. Music will be provided by Dianthe Cable, organist. Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery.

Anna was adopted by Joseph Kirby (1861 - 1906)and
Katherine Belle Cloren-Kirby(1871 - 1935) After Joseph died in the Novinger mines Katherine married William McRay Weymouth(1880 - 1951). They are buried in the Novinger Cemetery Adair County Missouri.
