Survived by his loving wife of 28 years Isabelle (Alsing) Gabel of New Lenox; devoted niece Lynne Mrs. Howard Larson of New Lenox; loving sister-in-law, Mrs. Grace (Leonard) Puttkammer of New Lenox. Born in Maywood, lived in New Lenox area for the past 13 years. U.A. Army WWII veteran. Private services were held Saturday August 17, 1996 from the Kurtz Memorial Chapel, Cedar at Francis Road. Interment Eden Cemetery, Schuller Park, IL.
