Denver Corinne Herring DeArmond, 86, of Dermott, died April 30, 2002, at her home.

Born October 25, 1915, in Bradley County, she was a daughter of the late John L. Herring and Clara M. Grubbs Herring.

She was a retired nurse's aide, real estate agent and a member of Dermott Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis Edward DeArmond, on March 28, 1991.

Survivors include two daughters, Olivia DeArmond and Rebecca DeArmond-Huskey, both of Ozment Bluff; two brothers, Cravon Herring of Winfield [sic Winnfield], Louisiana, and Shannon Herring of Ohio; three sisters, Juanita DeArmond and Aubrey Bradford, both of La Porte, Texas, and Betty O'Neal of Warren; seven grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Frazer's Funeral Home at Warren. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery at Warren.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to CARTI or Dermott Baptist Church.
